The Umeya Corp. started out in 1991 as a home delivery service. It began with delivering quality food to Japanese restaurants, homes and catering parties. They made prepared food for restaurants to serve, as well as daily food for families. After the success of this business Mr. and Mrs. Umeda started Umeya Sushi Bar and Japanese Gourmet Restaurant. In 1996 they opened the doors of Umeya Restaurant. After 10 years of operation Umeya still serves the best quality Japanese cuisine to its customers.
